My name is Nigel Netley, and together with my wife, who does all the administrative side of things, we run outdoor activities for children and adults.
I have always had a passion for being outside in the open air, taking in the beautiful countryside and wildlife that we are fortunate to have around us.
By living on the edge of the South Downs National Park, the opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife and take in breathtaking views are limitless.
I was fortunate to have learnt survival skills and bush-craft techniques from a well- known, high profile survival expert, who taught me a great deal about the skills needed to survive using the natural resources around us. In turn, I have great satisfaction in passing onto others what I have learnt from him and also the knowledge that I have acquired on my own.
I feel a lot of young people today spend too much time on their smart phones/ipads, in front of a television or a computer screen and are missing out on something far more valuable and enjoyable.
My aim is to promote the experience and enjoyment of being outside in a forest setting, using the natural resources in the forest to build your own den, learn about tracking and trapping and identifying animal tracks, orienteering, fire-lighting and discovering indigenous plants and their uses.
But most of all, spending quality time with family and friends while enjoying the fresh air and exercise!
I hope to provide an alternative and fun filled experience, for children and adults alike.
We offer a variety of activities for children 4 years old+ and adults.
